Obituary appeared in the Tuesday March 10, 1942 Elizabethton Star

Funeral services for Zack C. Peters will be conducted from the North Funeral
Home Chapel Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock with the Rev. George
Westmorland in charge.  Interment will be in the Morton Cemetery at Hampton.
Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Peters; two brothers, Robert
Peters, Butler and B.H. Peters of Hampton.  Pall bearers will be selected from
friends at the funeral.

(Zachariah Peters was the son of Thomas H. Peters c1830-1881 and Nancy Ann
Morton 1836-1915.  His wife was Minnie Carden 1872-1964)
