Pierce 06/02/99 Louise Perry Pierce, 71, 117 Nave Street, Hampton, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Pierce was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Huey Alford and Luemma Caldwell Perry. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steve William Humphrey, and by four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Pierce was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her husband, Robert Glen Pierce; a son, Glen Ray Graham, Hampton; a sister, Dorothy Oakes, Hampton; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Sandra Roberts and Jeanette Blevins. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. PIERCE -- Funeral services for Louise Perry Pierce, 71, 117 Nave Street, Hampton, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dexter Brummitt officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lyons Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday, will be Alfred Humphrey, Roy Humphrey, Dwayne Humphrey, Jeffrey Graham, Gary Graham and Tony Roberts. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Friday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
