Leta M. Potter

   Mrs. Leta Mae Potter, 79, 187 Price Road, Elizabethton, died Monday, 
July 1, 2002, at Hillview Health Center.
   Mrs. Potter was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late 
Jack and Sarah South Campbell. She was also preceded in death by a sister, 
Belle Campbell.
   Mrs. Potter was a retired seamstress. She was of the Baptist faith.
   Survivors include her husband, Jack L. Potter; a daughter, Cynthia 
Hopson, Elizabethton; and a brother, Landon Campbell, Elizabethton. Several 
nieces and nephews also survive.
   Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
   
   POTTER -- Graveside services for Mrs. Leta Mae Potter, 79, 187 Price Road, 
Elizabethton, who died Monday, July 1, 2002, will be conducted at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, July 3, in the Campbell Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Wilson 
officiating. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected 
from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. 
Tuesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral 
home at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed
