CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Paul E. Potter, 23 Aug 2004 ----¤¤¤---- COCOA, Fla. -- Paul E. Potter, 80, of Cocoa, passed away Monday, August 23, 2004. Mr. Potter was born in Elizabethton, Tenn. He was a World War II veteran, serving six years in the U.S. Navy. He came to Cocoa in 1958, working for Pan Am, and later, opening Potter Upholstering and Clearlake Gym. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Geneva Potter, and two brothers, John Harold and Glenn "Bill" Potter. Paul is survived by one daughter, Gwendolyn Motti, Boiling Springs, S.C.; two sons, Larry Potter, Melbourne Beach, and Gary Potter, Romance, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Gene Webster; and one brother, William E. Potter, Melbourne. Seven grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, August 27, with services following at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
