Mr. Pritchard was a native of Carter County and the son of the late Happy John and Bessie Hurley Pritchard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice Wilson Pritchard, May 5, 1998, a son, Danny Pritchard, February 10, 2001, and by four sisters and a brother. Mr. Pritchard attended King Springs Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of Moores Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from North American Rayon Corporation after 55 years of service in the Air Conditioning Department. He was a member of the Dashiell Masonic Lodge #238 F&AM, Scottish Rite 32deg., R.D. Keller Chapter #214, B.E. Wooten Council #119, Carter Commandery #37, Jericho Shrine Temple, North Rite York College, and the Order of the Eastern Star Sycamore Chapter #162. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Charlotte and Robert Isenhour, Charlotte, N.C., Linda Scalf and Faye and Frank Stover, all of Elizabethton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Jean Pritchard, Gray, and Landon and Betty Pritchard, Elizabethton; a brother and sister-in- law, Herman and Jo Ann Pritchard, Elizabethton; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Myrtle and Carl Nichols, Johnson City, and Hazel Shelton, Bristol. Several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, (423) 543-4917, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Tetrick PRITCHARD -- Funeral services for Omer Pritchard, 77, 134 Central Avenue, Johnson City, who died Monday, March 5, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Orville P. Stokes and the Rev. Eric Eggers officiating. Masonic services will be conducted by the Dashiell Masonic Lodge #238 F&AM following the service. Music will be under the direction of Patty Hodge, soloist, and Sue Bowers, organist. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Garland Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Robert Isenhour, Jerry Strange, Jamie West, Jack Buckles, Keith Garland, J.C. Osborne and Wayne Pritchard. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Dashiell Masonic Lodge No. 238 F&AM, Dr. Frank Johnson, Charlie Brown, Ralph Fletcher, Ben Edwards, Barry Taylor and Charlie Gardner. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
