Pruitt Emma Lee Pruitt, 75, of Life Care Center of Elizabethton, formerly of 1103 Lynndale Drive, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, November 7, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Sam James and Martha Lula Whitehead Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Pruitt, November 19, 1991, and by four sisters and a brother. Mrs. Pruitt was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, and a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Captain Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post #2166. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Don Warren, Piney Flats, and Nadine and Randy Forbes, Elizabethton; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Nancy Pruitt, Elizabethton; a brother, Bobby Campbell, Fairfield, Calif.; three grandchildren, Jimmy Warren, Piney Flats, Wes Buckner, Elizabethton, and Amanda Pruitt, Elizabethton; a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Warren, Piney Flats; and two step-grandchildren, Samantha and Kiersta Copp, Elizabethton. PRUITT -- Graveside services for Emma Lee Pruitt, 75, of Life Care Center of Elizabethton, formerly of 1103 Lynndale Drive, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, November 7, 2000, will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Stout officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Eugene Galloway, Dr. David Fenner and the Nursing Staff of Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 11:45 a.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 9, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Nadine and Randy Forbes, 355 Garrison Hollow Road, Elizabethton.
