CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Pauline Estep Puckett, 25 Feb 2003 ----¤¤¤---- Pauline E. Puckett Mrs. Pauline Estep Puckett, 83, Will Estep Road, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 in the Life Care Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Mattie Crowe Estep. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Puckettt was a member of the Siam Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Puckett; a daughter, Fayne McNeil, and an infant son. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Crowe, Claude Estep, Click Estep, and Joe Estep, and two sisters, Elsie Carden and Grace Treadway. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Butch and Donna Puckett, 2140 West G. Street, Elizabethton; one brother and sister-in-law, Hunter and Glenda Estep, Elizabethton; four grandchildren, Scottie Puckett, of Rogersville; Kim Puckett, Carla Puckett and Jeannie Puckett, all of Elizabethton; five great grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Jerry McNeil, of Roanoke, Va. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. PUCKETT -- Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Estep Puckett, 83, Will Estep Road, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2003 in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Roddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Horseshoe Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:55 p.m. Thursday will be Scott Puckett, Charles Treadway, Joe Estep, Greg Estep, Tom Glen Grindstaff, Elic Grindstaff, Raymond Calhoun and John Edwards.
