Rainbolt Beulah Alma C. Rainbolt, 95, went to walk with the Lord, Tuesday, October 10, 2006. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Arnettie E. Bailey Campbell and was married to the late Ferd Rainbolt. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, and a special sister-in-law, Bonnie Campbell. Mrs. Rainbolt was saved at the age of 13 and became a member of Little Milligan Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was the church clerk and treasurer for 63 years. She also attended Watauga Academy and ETSU, where she became a school teacher in 1931, teaching at Poga, Elk Mills and Little Milligan Elementary schools for 42 years. Survivors include a special niece, whom she raised as a daughter, Mary Lee English of Elizabethton. Several other nieces and nephews and special friends also survive. The funeral service for Mrs. Rainbolt will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 14, at Little Milligan Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Bradshaw and Rev. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Music will be under the direction of Rev. Ronnie Campbell, Phyllis McQueen and Tammy Kinser. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service, or at the residence at anytime. Interment will follow the service at Campbell Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Bobby White, Jim Vernan Moody, Dennis Campbell, Rodney Ford, Justin Cable, Jerry Cable, Craig Dugger and Gurney Pilk. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Little Milligan Baptist Church and Daigel Moody, Ronda McQueen, Paul Campbell and Randy Whaley.
