Mabel Lyons Reed 





    Mrs. Mable Lyons Reed, 82, formerly of Elizabethton, went home to be with 

the Lord, Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at Florida Hospital of Flagler, Palm 

Coast, Fla. 





    Mrs. Reed had lived in Seminole, Fla., since 1980 and moved to Palm Coast 

in October 2002. She loved to play the organ, do needlework and crochet. She 

was a member of Seminole First Baptist Church and was well loved by her family 

and friends. 





    Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, Bryant and Addie Lyons; 

her husband, Lawrence Reed; a sister, Florence Blevins, and a brother, Luther 

Lyons. 





    Survivors include a sister, Helen Norris of Palm Coast, Fla., and many 

nieces and nephews. 





    A graveside service for Mrs. Reed will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, 

October 15, at Emmert Cemetery with Dr. Joe Sorah officiating. Everyone will 

meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday. Friends may call at Hathaway-Percy 

Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, prior to the graveside service.
