Reynolds Ethel V. Reynolds, 100, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Miss Reynolds was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late G.M. and Mollie Young Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, John, Walter, Fred, Clyde, Bruce, Dana and Oscar Reynolds, and five sisters, Bessie Stepp, Lucy McConnell, Mary Nell Wade, Gladys Garland and Alma Wilson. Miss Reynolds was a 1926 graduate of Elizabethton High School. She received a teaching degree from East Tennessee State Teachers College. She was a member of East River Park Christian Church and was active in the Rainbow Class. Miss Reynolds was a member of the Keenburg Home Demonstration Club for many years. She loved flowers and gardening. Survivors include Bob Reynolds, her nephew and caregiver, and a host of other nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Miss Reynolds will be conducted at 12 noon Tuesday, March 21, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. John Smith and Mr. Eddie Fine, ministers, officiating. Music will be provided by John Smith and Gerri Vance. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from the elders and deacons of East River Park Christian Church. To those who prefer, memorials may be made in memory of Miss Reynolds to the East River Park Christian Church, 1207 Broad Street Ext., Elizabethton, TN 37643. The family would like to thank the staff of Life Care Center for their special care of Aunt Ethel.
