ROSENBAUM SR. Frank Bud Rosenbaum Sr., 85, 123 Rosenbaum Private Drive, Elizabethton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 6, 2008, at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Hollie Spears Rosenbaum. Mr. Rosenbaum was a steel worker and a member of the Local 384 Knox Iron Workers Union. He had also worked as a farmer. Mr. Rosenbaum enjoyed hooking up his mules and riding in the wagon trains. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and had attended church at Prayer Tabernacle and Freedom Fellowship Center. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Rosenbaum; a son, Frank B. Rosenbaum Jr.; two sisters, Hazel Hardin and Hildred Turner; and two brothers, Clifford and Martin Rosenbaum. Survivors include his wife, Nannie Oliver Rosenbaum, of the home; a daughter, Ethel Grubb and her husband James of Bristol; a step-daughter, Linda Peters of Elizabethton; a stepson, Darrell Richardson and his wife Grace of Winston-Salem, N.C.; six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great- great- grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren, two step-great-great-grandchildren; and two special nephews, Bobby Harding and Ernest Rosenbaum, both of Elizabethton. Several additional nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service for Mr. Rosenbaum will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Sims and Rev. Doug Ranshaw officiating. Music will be under the direction of "Royal Vision." The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service, or at the residence other times. The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Friends and family are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Wednesday to travel together in procession. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Harding, Ernest Rosenbaum, Cecil Nelson, William Peters, David Nelson, Danny Eggers and Boyd Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Scott, Frank Harrell, David Bush, George Dugger, Freddie Colbaugh, Freddie Cox, Carroll Sims, Fred Tucker and Dave Tucker.
