Radford Mrs. Dorothy A. Radford, 78, 1386 Dry Creek Road, Elizabethton, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 31, 2001, at Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Radford was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Floyd and Pearl Holtsclaw Culler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Radford, August 31, 2000, a son, Allen Radford, and by four sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Radford was retired from Mary's Salads in Johnson City. She was a member of Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church and also the Women's Aid. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Bob Lipford, Elizabethton; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Jane Radford, Elizabethton, Roger Darrell and Gloria Radford, Charlotte, N.C., and Janet Radford, Vale, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Tonya Jeffers, Jeff Lipford, Shane Radford and Karen Radford, all of Elizabethton, Eugene Radford, Gray, Melissa Reynolds, Macon, Ga., and Tim Roberts, Bristol; four great-grandchildren, Travis Jeffers, and Weston Jeffers, both of Elizabethton, Elizabeth Radford, Gray, and Brian Reynolds, Macon, Ga.; two sisters, Ruth Morton and Annalee White, both of Elizabethton; and three brothers, Bill Culler, Hampton, Ray Culler, Elizabethton, and Floyd Culler Jr., Pensacola, Fla. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Radford, 78, 1386 Dry Creek Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, January 31, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, February 2, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Whitson and the Rev. Allen Simerly officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Carr Family. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from grandsons and nephews. Everyone will meet at the funeral home chapel at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, February 3, to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
