Miss Richardson was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Hillsberry and Vernie Baker Richardson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Greene, and two brothers, Jeff Richardson and Cephas Richardson. Miss Richardson was a member of Morgan Branch Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, John Richardson, Roan Mountain, and a sister, Winnie Osborne, Johnson City. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, is in charge of arrangements. RICHARDSON -- Funeral services for Leotha Richardson, 88, formerly of Route 3, Roan Mountain, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, with Rev. Keith Gwyn officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Danny Cooke Family and Charlotte Smith, organist. Graveside services and interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Richardson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be H.B. Richardson, William Osborne, Carl Osborne, Douglas Richardson, C.L. Thomas and Herbert Hoilman. Honorary pallbearers will be the men and deacons of Morgan Branch Free Will Baptist Church, Staff of Roan Highlands Nursing Center, Charles Hartman and Paul Wilson. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Friday for the graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel. Friends may also call at the residence of her brother, John Richardson, 285 Morgan Branch Road, Roan Mountain, any time. For those who prefer, memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Morgan Branch Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 849 Alton Palmer Road, Elk Park, N.C. 28622.
