Lucy O. Richardson

   Mrs. Lucy Oliver Richardson, 88, Elizabethton Life Care Center, 
died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at the Center following a lengthy illness.
   A native of Carter County, Mrs. Richardson was a daughter of the 
late John and Eliza Williams Oliver. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Roosevelt Richardson, in 1998 and by one sister.
   Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Upper 
Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
   Survivors include one daughter, Betty Barnett, Johnson City; two 
granddaughters: Kathy Barnett and Karen Hale, Johnson City; one grandson, 
Keith Barnett, Johnson City; five great-grandchildren and several nieces 
and nephews.
   Appalachian Funeral Home (928-6111) is in charge of arrangements, 
which are incomplete.
