CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Eliga Manuel Richardson

Obituary appeared in a January 1968 issue of the Elizabethton Star 

Word has been received here of the death of Eliga Manuel Richardson, age 67,
who died early Tuesday morning at his home in Goodlettsville, Tenn., near
Nashville.  Mr. Richardson was a retired Navy officer and a former resident of
Carter County, and a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church.  Survivors
include his mother, Mrs. Julia Elliott Richardson, Hamtramack, Mich.; two
sisters, Mrs. Cornelia Richardson Elliott, Route 5; Mrs. Armor Estep,
Hamtramack, Mich.; four brothers, James Richardson, Route 7; Clyde Richardson,
Route 5; Dudley, Route 5; and Sidney Richardson, Washington.  Funeral
arrangements are incomplete but services are tentatively set for Thursday in
Goodlettsville.
