Onnie Richardson
Onnie Mae Estep Richardson, age 81, Pine Ridge Care Center, 
Elizabethton, formerly of Dry Branch Road, Elizabethton, died 
Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following 
an extended illness. 
A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Sam 
and Liza Richardson Estep. 
She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Richardson; two 
sisters, Iva Dean Rutter, Veda Crosswhite and three brothers, Earl 
Estep, Albert Estep, and Authur Estep. 
Survivors include one daughter, Tammy Richardson Hughes, Elizabethton; 
one granddaughter, Nikki Hughes, Elizabethton; one great grandson, 
Dominque Story-Hughes, Elizabethton; one sister, Leone Grindstaff, 
Lenoir City; and one brother, Carson Estep, Johnson City. Several 
nieces and nephews also survive. 
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 
22, 2004 at Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel of Peace with Rev. Richard 
Estep and Rev. James Richardson officiating. Interment will follow 
at Richardson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from 
nephews and close friends. The family will receive friends from 6 
to 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Tetrick Funeral Home 
Chapel of Peace, Elizabethton. Online condolences may be sent to
