CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Eula Fay Richardson, 22 Jan 2004 ----¤¤¤---- Eula Fay Richardson, 75, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., passed this life on January 22, 2004. She was born to Granville and Victoria White and was raised near Elizabethton. She attended Watauga High School and played basketball for their team. In 1948 she married Noah Richardson Jr. They had one daughter, Linda Kay. The family moved to Toledo, Ohio, in 1954 where they resided until Eula went to live with her daughter in Florida in 1972. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener who had a free spirit all her own. A spirit which her entire family will sorely miss. She is survived by her loving family which includes: daughter Linda Kay; six grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Nana": Scott (Laura) Cooley of Montpelier, Ohio, Jason (Kristie) Demartino of Naples, Fla., Jennifer (Sam) Shults of Fayetteville, Ark., Sam (Nicole) Iannaccone Jr. of Naples, Fla., Michael, who is presently serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq, (Michelle) Iannaccone of Naples, Fla., and David Frank Schaner II of Naples, Fla. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa and Scott Cooley Jr., Jason Demartino II and Paolo Shults. One sister, Dorothy, and one brother, Lascoe, also survive along with several nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004, in the Lakeview Cemetery, Butler, with the Rev. James Richardson officiating.
