Florence Ollie Reece, 88, Charlotte Drive, Elizabethton, went to meet her Lord
and Savior on Sunday, March 13, 2005, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Reece spent most of her life in the Limestone Cove Community and was a
daughter of the late Robert and Ollie Woody Gouge, Unicoi. In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Reece, two infant
children and 15 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Reece was a homemaker. She attended
Buffalo Valley Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Rev. Donnie
Harris, with whom she made her home, and Shelby and Hack Hyder, all of
Elizabethton; grandchildren, Steve Hyder and wife Sherry, Greg Hyder, and
Loren Harris and wife Cindy, all of Elizabethton; four great-grandchildren,
Trevor Hyder, Drew Hyder, Cameron Harris and Kenidy Harris; niece, a Ruby
Mayton, Oliver Springs; and a special friend, Julie Peters, Elizabethton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Reece will be held at 8 p.m. Monday, March 13, from
the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Hendrich and Rev. David Castle
officiating. Music will be provided by Loren Harris and The Montgomery Family.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home
and other times at the residence, 1623 Charlotte Drive, Elizabethton.
Committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Roselawn
Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons, great-grandsons and nephews.
Pallbearers are requested to assemble at the funeral home by 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The family, minister, pallbearers and friends may gather at the funeral home
by 10:15 a.m. Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery. Condolences may be
