Street Edith Irene Troutman Street, 85, 150 Burbank Road, Roan Mountain, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Roan Highlands Nursing Center. Mrs. Street was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Hezicah and Delia Heaton Troutman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Street, two brothers, Jess and Roy Troutman, and a granddaughter, Aimee Street. Mrs. Street was a homemaker and a member of Burbank Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Wilma and David Blackwell, Elizabethton, and Vicky and Steve Dyer, Roan Mountain; two sons and daughters-in-law, Guy and Anita Street, Johnson City, and Michael and Jackie Street, Roan Mountain; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Willie Barnett, Roan Mountain; and four brothers, Guy Troutman, Hampton, J.L. Troutman and Jack Troutman, both of Roan Mountain, and Ralph Troutman, Elizabethton. Funeral services for Mrs. Street were conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at Burbank Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Blevins and Rev. Bill Greer officiating. Music was provided by the Burbank Quartet. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 27, in the Troutman Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the church at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, will be Shane Street, Brent Blackwell, Nick Street, David Blackwell, Steve Dyer and Joey Street. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Jarrett, Grayson Street, Johnny Hill, Jack Barnett, Dayton Street and the men of Burbank Freewill Baptist Church. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service hour. Friends may also call at the residence at anytime.
