Mrs. Doshia Collins Sheets, age 71, of Route 5, Elizabethton, died in the
Carter County Memorial Hospital Saturday morning following an extended
illness.  A native of Black Water, Tennessee, she was the widow of the late
Melton Sheets who died in 1959.  Mrs. Sheets was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Pineville, Kentucky.  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jessie
Estep of Route 5, Elizabethton; three half-sisters, Mrs. Mae Castle of
Pennington, Gap., Va.; Mrs. Martha Blackburn of Pennington Gap, Va.; Mrs.
Cornie Harron of Rogersville, Tenn.; five half-brothers, Cecil Collins of
Indianapolis, Ind.; Wright Collins and Fate Collins of Pennington Gap, Va.;
William Collins of Bulls Gap, Tenn., and A.V. Collins of Rogersville, Tenn.;
two grandchildren also survive.  Tetrick Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
