Lydia Shell

   Lydia Shell, 84, Pine Ridge Health Care, formerly of 2432 Stone Drive, 
Johnson City, died Friday, February 16, 2001, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital 
following a brief illness.
   Miss Shell was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late 
John Lemuel and Polly Birchfield Shell. She was also preceded in death by 
several brothers and sisters.
   Miss Shell was a member of Cherokee Church of Christ.
   Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jack (Fatha) Crumley, Elizabethton. 
Several nieces and nephews and her many friends also survive.

   SHELL -- Graveside services for Lydia Shell, 84, Pine Ridge Health Care, 
formerly of 2432 Stone Drive, Johnson City, who died Friday, February 16, 
2001, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, February 19, in the Burleson 
Family Cemetery with Mr. Duke Gregory, minister, and Mr. Tom Burleson 
officiating. The family will receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Home, 
Riverside Chapel, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Monday, prior to the graveside 
service. For those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers, donations may 
be made to the Cherokee Church of Christ, 1421 Cherokee Road, Johnson City,
