CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Louise Gwin Shook, 13 Mar 2005 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Louise Gwin Shook, 81, Highway 321, Hampton, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Shook was a native of Atlanta, Ga., and the daughter of the late Ralph and Hilda Laws Gwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Frederick Shook, in 2000, a sister, Molly Johnson, and two brothers, Ralph Gwin Jr. and Robert Gwin. Mrs. Shook was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, Charles "Freddie" Shook, Hampton; a brother, Paul Gwin, Calhoun, Ga.; a sister, Martha Lynch, Calhoun, Ga.; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bob and Mary Atwood. Funeral services for Mrs. Shook will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Haskel Ingram officiating. Music will be provided by Ann Stepp. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service.
