Shultz Mrs. Dorothy Doris Shultz, 97, 601 Lloyd Lane, Lenoir City, formerly of 304 Daytona Place, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, September 5, 2001, at Farragut Health Care Center, Knoxville. Mrs. Shultz was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late William Thomas and Martha Ann Hyder McCloud. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Shultz Sr., in 1995, three brothers, Nolan, Joe and Zeb McCloud, and five sisters, Crystal Gentry, Bonnie Sheppard, Ruth Davis, Naomi Bush and Hazel Holan. Mrs. Shultz was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church, Elizabethton, where she was a past president of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a former member of the DAR and a member and past president of the Elizabethton Woman's Club. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, William H. Shultz Jr. and Mary Hill Shultz, Lenoir City; a granddaughter, Cynthia Shultz Noles; a grandson, William H. Shultz III; and three great-grandchildren, Victoria Ann Noles, William Taylor Shultz and Madison Bailey Shultz. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, is in charge of arrangements. SHULTZ-- Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Doris Shultz, 97, 601 Lloyd Lane, Lenoir City, formerly of 304 Daytona Place, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, September 5, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, September 7, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Phil Poston officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Carol Bowers, organist. Entombment services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 8, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, is in charge of arrangements.
