CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Alice E. Sigman, 24 Dec 2004 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Alice E. Sigman, 88, formerly of Highway 91, Elizabethton, died Friday, December 24, 2004, at Pine Ridge Care Center, Elizabethton, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sigman was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late William Carroll and Eva Williams Taylor. Mrs. Sigman was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church and a former member of Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a brother, Fred Taylor, Elizabethton, and several nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 26, at Caldwell Springs Cemetery with Rev. Eric Eggers and Rev. Burl Garland officiating. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Sunday. The family will receive friends at the home of her brother, Fred Taylor, 131 Eastland Drive, Elizabethton, anytime. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Watauga Valley Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 106 Watauga Valley Church Road, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
