Mrs. Sizemore was a native and resident of Carter County and a daughter of the late John and Ollie Norris Potter. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters Mrs. Sizemore was a homemaker and a member of the Laurel Fork Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Dempsey Sizemore, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Barbara Potter, Chesterton, Ind.; and a brother, Nat Potter, Chesterton, Ind. Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. SIZEMORE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Orpha "Bernice" Sizemore, 77, 124 Infinity Drive, Elizabethton, who died Monday, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with Rev. Ernest Garland officiating. Interment will follow in the Laurel Fork Mountain View Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be grandsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
