Mrs. Sizemore was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Charlie and Doshia McKinney Sims. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Sizemore was a homemaker and a member of the Valley Forge Church of God. Survivors include her husband, L.S. Sizemore, of the home; a son, Randy Sizemore, Elizabethton; a daughter, Betty Roberts, Elizabethton; and a sister, Luna Blevins, Elizabethton. Six grandchildren, a great- granddaughter, several nieces and nephews, a special nephew, Homer Sims, and a special friend, Dr. Max Bayard, also survive. Funeral-Plans.com/Hathaway-Percy SIZEMORE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Sizemore, 80, 105 Hunter Lane, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, September 13, 2000, will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, with the Rev. Mike Kirby officiating. Music will be by special friends. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 17, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Glen Medears, Johnny Isaacs, Jimmy Sizemore, Jamie Roberts, Mark Roberts, Chad Saylor and Homer Sims. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Friends may also call at the residence at any time. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
