CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Aunt Callie Stalcup, 24 Apr 1958

Obituary appeared in the Friday, April 25, 1958 Elizabethton Star 

Butler.  Aunt Callie Stalcup, 93, of Route 3, Butler, died early 
Thursday morning at her home.  She had been sick for a few days.  
She was a member of the Little Doe Baptist Church and the widow 
of the late W.A. Stalcup.  Survivors include:  one son, James 
Stalcup, Albany, Oregon; two daughters, Mrs. Maggie Kyte, 
Cartersville, Va. And Mrs. Sara Scott, Athens, Oregon; one 
brother, James K. Stalcup of Elizabethton.  Nine grandchildren, 
20 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren also 
survive.  Hill Funeral Home of Mountain City is in charge of 
arrangements.
