Stout, 92, Hillview Health Care, formerly of 806 Mulberry Street, Elizabethton, died Tuesday, January 16, 2001, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Stout was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Cart and Nancy Campbell Nidiffer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hence Stout. Mrs. Stout was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a former employee of North American Rayon Corporation. Survivors include four grandchildren, Patty Davis, Elizabethton, Lisa Gibson, Gastonia, N.C., Linda Morgan, Granite Falls, Wash., and Ricky Nidiffer, Fort McCoy, Fla., and a sister, Maggie Oliver, Elizabethton. Twelve great- grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Stout, 92, Hillview Health Care, formerly of 806 Mulberry Street, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, January 16, 2001, will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, in the Autumn Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Sorah officiating. Music will be under the direction of the Calvary Baptist Church Choir. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 18, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gerald Oliver, Larry Paul Oliver, Odell Oliver, Steve Oliver, Lanny Joe Oliver and Roby Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Royal Workers Sunday School Class of Calvary Baptist Church. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 1:15 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Autumn Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the residence of a granddaughter, Patty Davis, 806 Mulberry Street, Elizabethton, at any time.
