Pauline W. Stout

Pauline Wilma Stout, 77, 2678 Highway 91, Elizabethton, died 
Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at Johnson City Medical Center.
Ms. Stout was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late 
Charlie and Gracie Williams Bowers. She was also preceded in death 
by a sister, Irene Bowers.
Ms. Stout was retired from the Housekeeping Department of the former 
Carter County Memorial Hospital. She attended Holly Springs Free 
Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Eugene Bowers and Beryl Bowers, 
both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

STOUT -- Funeral services for Pauline Wilma Stout, 77, 2678 Highway 
91, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, will be conducted 
at 8 p.m. Friday, May 9, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. 
Ray Colbaugh officiating. Music will be provided by the New Liberty 
Quartet. Entombment services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, 
May 10, in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. 
Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral 
home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, will be Jimmy Buckles, Scotty Jones, 
Tony Jones, Paul Taylor, Kelly Bowers, Clyde Blevins and Joe Carrier. 
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the 
funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home 
at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be
