Mrs. Clara Belle Stout, 84, Rt. 2, Hampton died Saturday evening, February 25,
1989 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness.  Mrs. Stout
was a native and life long resident of Carter County and the daughter of the
late Jones Allen and Vertie Estep Carden.  She was a retired employee of
Bemberg Corporation with 34 years of service and a member of the Union Baptist
Church.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Lloyd H. Stout and Gurney
"Bruce" Stout and by two daughters, Maxine Stout Simerly and Shirley Ann Stout
Hicks.
