Street Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Johnson Street, 77, 106 Julian Lane, Gray, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Street was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Manarka Brewer Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carter Street, and three sisters, Ruby Arnett, Blanche Smith and Reba Cordell. Mrs. Street was a homemaker. She attended Marvin's Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Robert "Bob" Julian, Gray; four sisters, Hazel Parlier and Mae Shell, both of Roan Mountain, Gladys Winters, of Texas, and Ruth Shoemaker, Wilkesboro, N.C.; and a dear friend, Gladys Hodge, Jonesborough. Three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, is in charge of arrangements. www.Funeral-Plans.com/Tetrick STREET -- Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Johnson Street, 77, 106 Julian Lane, Gray, who died Saturday, June 10, 2000, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Rhododendron Chapel, Roan Mountain, with Rev. Darrell Holly officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Roy Hartley, Rick Nutter, Bobby Julian, Ron Julian, Johnny Shell and Glen Shell. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence, 106 Julian Lane, Gray, any time.
