Miss Taylor was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late William and Amanda Moreland Taylor. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Tyler, Dewey, Lee and Everett Taylor, and two sisters, Goldie Taylor and Slina Lipps. Miss Taylor was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. She was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. TAYLOR -- Funeral services for Zella Taylor, 85, Ivy Hall Nursing Home, formerly of Village East Apartments, Elizabethton, died Thursday, February 1, 2001, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, February 4, at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Estep, Dr. Kenneth Jordan and the Rev. Bill Taylor officiating. Gene Church, soloist, The Hardin Brothers Quartet and Mrs. Norene Allen, organist, will be in charge of music. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be nephews and great-nephews. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stoney Creek Baptist Church. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
