CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Pansy C. Taylor, 25 Sep 2002 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Pansy C. Taylor Mrs. Pansy C. Taylor, 83, 1044 Gap Creek Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Coy E. and Mayme Hyder Nave. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Coy E. Nave Jr. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Frank W. Taylor, of the home; a daughter, Della Sue Richard, of California; three sisters, Blanch Dolan and Mary Esther Nave, both of Elizabethton, and Vorita Hodge, of Ohio; a brother, Harold Nave, Elizabethton; two granddaughters, Ava Suzette Hines, Elizabethton, and Lisa Richard, of Wisconsin; and two grandsons, Steven Frank Sims, Elizabethton, and Craig Richard, of California. Six great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Taylor, 83, 1044 Gap Creek Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, September 25, 2002, will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday, September 27, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway- Percy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean Presnell and the Rev. Sherrel Nave officiating. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2002 at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Steve Sims, Adam Sims, Bill Dolan, Scott Hayes, Carl Bowers and James Hines. Honorary pallbearer will be Sammy Ford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
