CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Goldie G. Taylor, 11 Dec 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Goldie G. Taylor Goldie G. Taylor, 89, formerly of 109 Garrett Estep Road, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late John and Sarah McKinney Arnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roby Taylor, in October 1999, a brother, Joe Arnett, and a grandson, Bryan Miller. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John Nolan and Madalyn Miller, Hobart, Ind.; four grandchildren, Steve Miller and his wife Linda, Harrisonburg, Va., Michael Miller, Valparaiso, Ind., Bruce Miller, Portage, Ind., and Karen McCain, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Winnie Mann, Elizabethton, Nell Long, Shady Valley, Dot Evans, Winter Park, Fla.; a special friend, Harriet Page, Elizabethton. Taylor, 89, formerly of 109 Garrett Estep Road, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, December 11, 2002, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 15, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Clate Briggs officiating. Committal services and entombment will follow the funeral service in the Mausoleum of Peace at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Steve Miller, Mike Miller, Bruce Miller, Kenneth Mann, Jerry Mann and Shane McCain.
