CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Noah Arlie Taylor, 6 Feb 2003 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Noah A. Taylor Noah Arlie Taylor, 87, Noah Taylor Road, Elizabethton, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 in the Pine Ridge Health Care Center. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Bill and Hattie Elliott Taylor. He was a retired auto mechanic having operated Taylors Garage for a number of years. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Grindstaff Taylor; a daughter, Annita Taylor; two sons, Ralph and Ivan Taylor; a sister and four brothers. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Viola and Willard Garland and Mae and Jerry Campbell, all of Elizabethton; a son-in-law, Charlie "Bo" Taylor, Elizabethton; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. TAYLOR -- Funeral services for Noah Arlie Taylor, 87, Noah Taylor Road, Elizabethton, who died Thursday, February 6, 2003 will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Willie Campbell officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003 in Ensor Cemetery. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. Saturday will be Jim Byrd, Jerry Campbell, Jerry Carden, Jr., Walter Williams, Timothy Taylor and Tracey Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Warren Grindstaff, Sanford Peters, Ralph Andes, Willard Garland, Ben Whitehead, and Don Curtis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the residence of a daughter and son-in-law, Mae and Jerry Campbell, 508 Garrison Hollow Road, Elizabethton.
