CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Pansy M. Taylor, 5 Sep 2003 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Pansy M. Taylor Pansy M. Taylor, 92, Mill Pond Road, Elizabethton, died Friday, September 5, 2003, at her residence following a brief illness. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late George Issac and Elizabeth Bowers Morrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Love Taylor, a son, Robert Laddie Taylor, and by 22 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation after 50 years of service as an inspector. Survivors include a sister, Marie Senter, Elizabethton; a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Robert '"'Corky'"' and Doanie Taylor, Elizabethton; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor and Jeremy Taylor, both of Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 7, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home with Dr. Dennis Deese and the Rev. Burl Garland officiating. Music will be under the direction of Larey and Chris Pippin. Interment will follow the funeral service at Caldwell Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home.
