CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Camilla "Nell" Taylor, 25 Dec 2003

Camilla "Nell" Taylor, age 74, of Blevins Avenue, Elizabethton, 
died Thursday, December 25, 2003, at Ivy Hall Nursing Home following 
a lengthy illness. She was a native of Carter County and a daughter 
of the late George and Mary Johnson Taylor. She was a former employee 
of Levi-Strauss. She was a member of Brown's Chapel AME Zion Church. 
She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Taylor, Jr. and 
Albert Taylor; by two sisters, Helen Stover and Amelia McKesson. 
Survivors include one son, Dana Taylor, of Garrett, Ind.; two daughters, 
Ellen Diane White, of Warren, Ohio, and Sherry Denise Fleming, of 
Salisbury, N.C.; two brothers, Earl Taylor and Charles R. Taylor, 
both of Elizabethton; one sister, Geraldine Taylor, of Elizabethton; 
and six grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 
The graveside service for Camilla "Nell" Taylor will be conducted at 
11 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at Happy Valley Memorial Park 
with the Rev. James Reddick, the Rev. Anthony Horton, the Rev. Ernest 
Widby, Mr. Joseph Thompson and the Rev. Fredrick Meredith officiating. 
The family will receive friends at the Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home 
from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2003. Everyone will meet at the 
funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday to go in procession to the 
cemetery. Friends may also call at the residence at any time. For 
those who desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 
c/o Helen Wilson, 209 S. Riverside Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643.
