CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Sarah Catherine Stout Trivett, 15 Aug 1957 ----¤¤¤---- Obituary appeared in the Friday, August 16, 1957 Elizabethton Star Mrs. Sarah Catherine Stout Trivett, 84, of Butler, Route 3, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lee Gentry, Thursday at 7:15 a.m. after an illness of several months. She was a member of the Willow Dale Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Clarence Stoute of Garden Grove, California, Emmett Stout, of Fossil, Oregon; three daughters, Mrs. Hanna Grindstaff, Butler, Mrs. Lee Gentry, Butler, Mrs. Millison Stout of Mountain City; three brothers; Jessie Grindstaff, Johnson City; Gusta and Dudley Grindstaff, both of Elizabethton; one sister, Mrs. Tishia Wagner of Elizabethton; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grand-children and many nieces and nephews. Lewis Gentry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services for Sarah Katherine Stout Trivett will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Cobbs Creek Baptist church. Officiating will be Rev. J.J. Richardson and Rev. W.W. Ward. Burial will be made in the Grindstaff Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Dudley Wagner, Curtis Grindstaff, Little Dudley Grindstaff, Hickory Grindstaff, Bob Grindstaff, Tom Lawrence. Flower bearers will be selected from friends and neighbors. The body will remain in the chapel of Lewis Gentry Funeral Home until 12 noon Friday at which time it will be removed to the church. Lewis Gentry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (Sarah was the daughter of Grant Wilburn Grindstaff 1844-1924 and Nancy E. Robinson c1846-1915. Her 1st husband was Joseph L.
