Troutman Beatrice J. Troutman, 83, of Hillview Health Center, Elizabethton, formerly of 1104 E. Market Street, Johnson City, died Tuesday, December 12, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Mrs. Troutman was a native of Carter County and had lived some years in New York City and most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Effie Shell Troutman and was also preceded in death by a brother, John Frank Troutman. Mrs. Troutman attended First Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in New York. Survivors include two aunts, Fatha Crumley, Elizabethton, and Lydia Shell, Johnson City. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Morris-Baker Funeral Home, 2001 Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, (423) 282-1521, is in charge of arrangements. TROUTMAN -- Graveside services for Beatrice J. Troutman, 83, of Hillview Health Center, Elizabethton, formerly of 1104 E. Market Street, Johnson City, who died Tuesday, December 12, 2000, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 15, at Monte Vista Burial Park where family and friends will meet for this service. Rev. Clate W. Briggs Jr. will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience prior to the services.
