Anna E. Valentine 





    Anna Belle Edens Valentine, 73, passed away on May 5, 2006, at the 

Christian Care Nursing Center in Phoenix, Ariz., after a lingering illness. 





    She was a 1951 graduate of Happy Valley High School. 





    She was the daughter of the late Harrison and Annie Sims Edens. In addition 

to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Max Valentine; 

and son, Rick Valentine; two brothers, Ralph and Harold Edens of Johnson City. 





    Survivors include three brothers, Donald Edens of Washington, D.C., Tom 

Edens, Greenville, N.C., and Jack Edens, Tallahassee, Fla.; four sisters, Wilma 

Montgomery, Phoenix, Ariz., Hazel Holden and Jean White of Johnson City, and 

Nancy Alsup of Elizabethton. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 





    Memorial services will be held in Phoenix, Ariz. Courtesy of Memorial
