Albert J. Vaspory

Albert Joseph Vaspory, 84, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, 
Oct. 8, 2003, in the Johnson City Medical Center.
A native of Hungary, he was a U.S. citizen, having lived here 
for a number of years. He was a son of the late Albert and Mary 
Batin Vaspory. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Mr. Vaspory had lived in Elizabethton since 1991. He was a retired 
drafting engineer with the Wolmac Co., Welch, W.Va. He attended 
St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Carl and 
Kathy Vaspory, Winston-Salem, N.C.; four grandchildren, Denise 
C. Vaspory, Paul Mauk and his wife, Sandy, Rebecca Mauk and 
Michelle Logan, all of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and four great-
grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 
St. Elizabeth Catholic church, with Fr. Dennis Kress officiating. 
It was his wish to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, memorials may 
be made to the Carter County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 776, Elizabethton, 
TN 37644. Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
