White Otis B. White, 85, of Tell City, Ind., died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. A native of Carter County (Fish Springs Community), he was a son of the late Dana and Retha Smith White. Mr. White had lived in Indiana for a number of years and was a retired carpenter for the Owensboro Carpenter's Union. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of Fish Springs Baptist Church. Mr. White enjoyed playing golf, fishing, big game hunting, gardening and woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Opal Rollins White, and two brothers, Jack White of Mishawaka, Ind., and James White of Forsyth, Ga. Funeral services and interment will be private.
