Williams Clint H. Williams, 92, 906 Walker Street, Elizabethton, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Nat T. and Josie Headrick Williams. He was employed as a supervisor at the American Bemberg Corporation for several years. He was a retired employee of American General Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by two brothers, Clate Williams and Carl Williams. Survivors include his Wife, Katie Smith Williams; a son and daughter-in- saw, Steve and Charlene Madgett Williams, Fairfield Glade; a step-son, Phil McQueen and spouse JoAnn, Johnson City; a step-daughter; Tonya McQueen Smith and spouse, Harry Smith, Jr. of Elizabethton; five grandchildren, Rick Williams and Spouse Marissa, San Clemente, California, Russ Williams and spouse Kelsey, Morton, Illinois, a special granddaughter, Heather Smith and Jimmy Hayes, Elizabethton, Rena Kay Askew and spouse, Marlin, Concord, N.C. and Harry Smith, III and Spouse, Rachael, Murfreesboro; eight great-grandchildren; one niece, Mary Lee Williams Fitzpatrick and spouse, Richard, of Dixon, Calif.; two sisters-in-law, Marie Hodge, Elizabethton and Hope Sheppard and spouse J.T. of Johnson City; one step-nephew, Jerry Potter and spouse, Linda of Bristol, Tenn.; and several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Arthur Renfro officiating. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Friends may call at the residence any time or friends may call at the funeral home Saturday or Sunday morning. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to go to the cemetery. For those who prefer, memorials may be made in memory of Mr. Williams to the Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church. Condolences to the Williams family may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn.net.
