Wagner 08/23/99 William R. "Bill" Wagner, 74, 3886 Lob Lolly Drive, Clarkston, Ga., died Wednesday, August 18, 1999, at DeKalb Medical Center, Decatur, Ga., following a brief illness. Mr. Wagner was a native of Elizabethton and a son of the late R.N. "Jeff" and Bonnie Moreland Wagner. Mr. Wagner was active in the radio industry in the mid '50s and had owned a station in Cheraw, S.C. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Dashiell Masonic Lodge #238 F&AM and was active in the Shriners, Yaarah Temple, Atlanta, Ga. He was a retired trainer with the Chevron Oil Company Survivors include a daughter, Lisa W. Fields, Atlanta, Ga.; close relatives, Col. Elba and Tid Bowen, Greeneville, Matilda Green and Elizabeth and Frank Green, all of Fairfax, Va.; and a close friend, Bernice Crawford, Clarkston, Ga. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. WAGNER -- Graveside funeral services for William R. "Bill" Wagner, 74, 3886 Lob Lolly Drive, Clarkston, Ga., who died Wednesday, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Brent Seals officiating. Masonic Rites will be accorded by Dashiell Masonic Lodge #238 F&AM. Active pallbearers will be selected. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. To those who desire, memorials may be made to A Church That Serves, P.O. Box 941984, Atlanta, Ga., 31141, the Shriners or the Diabetes Foundation. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 a.m. Monday for the graveside services. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
