CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Ruth Warren, 11 Dec 2002 ----¤¤¤---- Ruth Warren Miss Ruth Warren, 82, 1200 Spruce Lane, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, December 11, 2002 in the Pine Ridge Health Center following a lengthy illness. A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Roe and Sabena Wilson Warren. She was a homemaker and member of Fairview Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister, Ruby Nave, Elizabethton; one half-brother, Thomas Warren, Watauga; one sister-in-law, Juanita Warren, Elizabethton; two nephews, Connie Nave and Jeff Warren, and two nieces, Sabena Nave and Suzette Markland. Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. WARREN -- Graveside services for Miss Ruth Warren, 82, 1200 Spruce Lane, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, December 11, 2002, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 in the Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Kenneth Jordan officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the residents and staff of the Pine Ridge Care Center. The family will receive friends at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
