Verona L. White

Mrs. Verona Lee Frazier White, 89, 1002 Highway 91, Elizabethton, 
died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at her residence.
Mrs. White was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late 
William Austin and Mattie Williams Frazier. She was also preceded in 
death by her husband, Andrew Ballard White Sr., October 11, 1998, a 
grandson, David Salyer, and by seven brothers.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and a member of Watauga Valley Free Will 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and W.C. 
Shelton and Claudette and John Salyer, all of Johnson City, Carolyn 
and Kenneth Colbaugh, Irma and Herman Rains and Nora and Wayne Peters, 
all of Elizabethton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew B. White 
Jr. and Shirlene White and John and Cheryl White, all of Elizabethton, 
and Paul and Angelee White, Gray; 10 grandchildren; Charles Shelton, 
Susan Colbaugh, Kelly Peters Jones, Kevin Peters, Audra Rains Monroe, 
Erin White, Candace White, Lindsey White, Connie Hicks Collins and 
Bill Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Gregory Andrew "Bud" Hicks 
and Allison Austin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
