Detlas Wilson

   Detlas Wilson, 76, 403A South Lane Court, Elizabethton, died Thursday, 
January 4, 2001, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a brief illness.
   A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and 
Stella Pierce Wilson. She was a member of Horseshoe Freewill Baptist 
Church.
   Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wilson in 1971, two 
sons, one daughter, three sisters and two brothers.
   Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Cordia Nave of the 
home and Lucille and Carmon Simerly of Elizabethton; two granddaughters, 
Kimberly Fillers and Joyce Frontz, both of Elizabethton; one grandson, 
Richard Wilson of Elizabethton; two great granddaughters, Joe-Anna Frontz 
and Brookie Wilson, both of Elizabethton; two sisters and one brother-in-
law, Ina Williams and Roxie and Horace Buckles, all of Elizabethton; and 
one brother and and sister-in-law, Hoover and Dorothy Wilson of Elizabethton.

   WILSON - Funeral services for Detlas Wilson, 76, 403A South Lane Court, 
Elizabethton, who died Thursday, January 4, 2001, will be conducted at 8 
p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, 
with Mr. Mack Bennett and Rev. Bobby Stout officiating. Music will be under 
the direction of Ray Don Markland. Graveside services and interment will 
be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, at Bowers Family Cemetery. Active 
pallbearers will be Jesse Miller, Joey Frontz, Fane Bowers, James Buckles, 
Dewey Fillerss and Dana Cardin. Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Cardin, 
Carmon Simerly, and Horace Buckles. Everyone will meet at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, 
Jan. 7, 2001, at Tetrick Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery. 
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at 
Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, and at the residence 403A South Lane
