Vaughn-Winters CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Roberta K. Vaughn-Winters, 70, died Sunday, January 13, 2002, at Hospice of Western Reserve, Cleveland after a brief illness. Mrs. Winters was born and raised in Elizabethton, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Stewart and Ella Vaughn and was also preceded in death by a sister, Faye Renner. Mrs. Winters was a 1950 graduate of Elizabethton High School. After graduation she worked in Washington, D.C., in the Fingerprint Division of the FBI before becoming a homemaker in Cleveland. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David Winters, a daughter, Sherry Hunt, a son, Dale Winters, a grandson, Thomas D. Hunt, and a granddaughter, Tamara Hunt, all of Cleveland, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Ruth Vaughn, Greeneville, Tenn., and Leslie and Betty Vaughn, Kingsport, Tenn. Funeral services and interment will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, in Cleveland. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Coreno's Funeral Home of Cleveland (216) 941-3434.
