Charlotte Sue Winters, 77, Fourth Street, Elizabethton, died 
Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at her residence.
Mrs. Winters was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the 
late William and Florene Jordan. She was also preceded in death by 
her husband, Robert Ray Winters, and a sister, Margaret Winters.
Mrs. Winters was a lifelong member of Memorial Presbyterian Church. 
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Winters, Ocean Springs, Miss., and 
Gregory Winters, Vancouver, Wash.; five grandchildren; two great-
grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd G. Winters, Elizabethton.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted at 10 a.m. 
Friday, January 9, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Curt 
Rabe officiating. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are 
asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m. Friday. The family will 
receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 8, at Tetrick 
Funeral Home, Elizabethton. Online condolences may be sent to the
