Williams Edna H. Williams, 84, of Life Care Center of Elizabethton, formerly of 1058 Highway 91, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, August 30, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Williams was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late George J. and Ida M. King Holly. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hunter H. Williams, and a grandson, Bradley Deal. Mrs. Williams was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue and James Carroll and Annette Berry, all of Elizabethton; a sister, Dorothy Large, Elizabethton; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and George Ann Holly, Anderson, S.C., and G.J. and Dorothy Holly, Osprey, Fla. Three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. Williams, 84, of Life Care Center of Elizabethton, formerly of 1058 Highway 91, Elizabethton, who died Wednesday, August 30, 2000, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, September 1, in the Mausoleum of Hope at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Oscar Henson Jr. and the Rev. Danny Simerly officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and neighbors, the staff of Life Care Center of Elizabethton and the staff and nurses of Sycamore Shoals Hospital. Everyone will meet at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, or at the residence of her daughters, Sue Carroll or Annette Berry, any time.
